The Performance Shift Turns One: A Year of Helping Centennial Move and Perform Better

Start
Your SHIFT Today

One year ago, The Performance Shift opened its doors in Centennial, Colorado, with a simple goal: give athletes and active people of every age one place to recover, train, and perform at their best. What we didn’t expect was how quickly that space would turn into a community. People of all ages and abilities, all working toward the same thing: to improve, to get better, and to keep showing up for themselves. Here, they regenerate, rediscover, and redefine what performance means to them.

What Year One Looked Like

Walk into The Performance Shift on any given day and you’ll see the full range of people we get to work with. High school athletes training for their next season. Golfers adding speed to their swing. Runners getting back on the trail after an injury. Adults recovering from surgery or long-standing pain so they can get back to the everyday moments that matter most. Friends pushing each other through a group class.

They all come in with different goals, but they leave with the same thing: a better understanding of how they move, a plan to build what’s missing, and the confidence to get back to what they love.

Everything Under One Roof

What makes The Performance Shift different is the collective behind it. Physical therapists, strength coaches, chiropractors, and wellness specialists all work side by side in our 10,000-square-foot facility, sharing notes and building plans together.

That means a client can move from sports physical therapy or orthopedic physical therapy to sports performance training, then add chiropractic care, sports massage, IV therapy, or sports recovery in Denver without starting over or repeating their story. Specialized care like pelvic floor physical therapy, sports psychology, and sports nutrition is right down the hall, too. Everyone is working from the same plan, toward the same goal.

Take a quick look inside.

The Community That Makes It Work

A great facility is only part of the story. What we’re proudest of is the people.

Our small group training classes have turned strangers into training partners who show up for each other. From youth athletes to lifelong competitors to people just getting started, many of our clients have become regulars who cheer each other on. Whether you drop in for a single class or join one of our group training series, there’s an easy way to jump in.

And the conversations don’t stop when the session does. They carry over to our in-house coffee shop, where people linger over a coffee, a matcha, a protein shake, or something healthy to eat. We’ve also been lucky to partner with local wellness and health businesses who share our commitment to helping people move and feel better.

To everyone who has trained, recovered, competed, or simply stopped by to say hello this year: thank you. You built this with us.

From the Journal

Part of our first year was sharing what we’ve learned with the people we work with and beyond. A few guides from year one:

Meet the Team

None of this happens without the people behind it. Our team spans sports, orthopedic, and pelvic floor physical therapy, strength and performance coaching, chiropractic care, sports psychology, nutrition, and wellness, and brings a wide range of experience and expertise. What they share is a commitment to understanding each client as a whole person, not just an injury or a program.

Meet our specialists to learn about their backgrounds, credentials, and areas of focus.

Here’s to Year Two πŸ₯‚
