Dr. Rachel Chirichella
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
A born and raised East Coaster, Rachel has been enjoying the beautiful mountains of Colorado for the last year after graduating from Stony Brook University with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. For years Rachel has been an avid runner, swimmer and lifter. She competed in the National Championship for College Club Swimming for Syracuse University as well as just completed her first NYC marathon running a sub 3:30! Over the years she has worked with various populations of clientele as a personal and group fitness trainer where she then went on to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Rachel became interested in treating pelvic floor after learning the pelvic dysfunction she was dealing with was something that could be treated with physical therapy techniques. In her last semester at Stony Brook, Rachel was able to have a clinical rotation specializing in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy where she treated women and men with various pelvic floor dysfunction as well as chronic lower back and hip pain. During her rotation she found she was able flourish by combining the principals of strength and conditioning for the treatment of these conditions.
Rachel is excited to join The Performance Shift to start helping clients connect with their pelvic floor through strength training!
