Quiana LASHEA Dotson

Director of Operations

Before she could even walk, Quiana was fascinated with movement and sharing her passion with others. After spending 25 years in the entertainment industry, Quiana knew she wanted to make a bigger impact on high performers and how we view recovery and performance.

During Quiana’s time within the industry, she started dancing at a very young age, spent time cheering for the University of Kansas, dancing for the Denver Nuggets, and coaching at Elite Competitive Cheerleading Teams within the metro area. Throughout her experiences just like any athlete, she ran into chapters of injury but never took the injury prevention approach seriously.

Back in 2022, Quiana was preparing for a major audition and ended up injuring herself in the process. As any athlete trained back in the day, she was in the mindset that “no pain, no gain” which she then continued to push on that injured area for four additional months, which caused the injury to become worse as you can imagine.

Quiana knew the way she was approaching her injuries healing would take much longer with that approach and finally, she got connected with Alice Barnes. Alice shifted her approach to injury prevention and strength training. Joining the team at The Performance Shift was a no-brainer. Being a helping hand, creating a powerful environment, and organizing the day-to-day flow are what Quiana shines in.

BEING ABLE TO SHARE RESOURCES WITH OTHERS TO BECOME THEIR BEST VERSION OF SELF WHILE LIVING OUT THEIR PASSION IS WHAT MATTERS MOST TO ME.
