Doug has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a master’s degree in Sports Administration, both of which he received from Valparaiso University while playing football for the 5 years he was there. He has intern experience with the strength and conditioning staff for Louisiana Tech University Football as well as Allegiate Gym.
Before joining The Performance Shift, Doug worked as an assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Indianapolis, MSU Denver, and Stanford University. During his time at those schools he designed all programming and led lifting, speed and agility, and conditioning sessions for Men’s and Women’s Swim & Dive, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Men’s & Women’s Tennis, Baseball, Women’s Basketball, Women’s Golf, Field Hockey, Wrestling, Sprints, Jumps, Cross Country.
